At EuroDobie, our mission has always been to do more than simply breed dogs—we strive to raise confident, healthy, and well-rounded companions. When beginning our journey, we searched for a program that would allow us to go above and beyond for our puppies and the families welcoming them into their homes.

When we discovered the Badass Breeder Program developed by Jeanette Forrey of 4E Kennels, we knew we had found the approach that matched our values and goals. At EuroDobie, the health and well-being of our dogs are among our highest priorities. All of our parent dogs undergo physical health testing through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) when applicable. The evaluations performed on our adult dogs include hips, elbows, and cardiac testing to help support healthy bloodlines and responsible breeding practices.

The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) maintains a database of radiographic evaluations (X-rays) and genetic testing results that breeders use to help produce healthier dogs and preserve the future of the breed. We utilize OFA testing as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the health and quality of our program.

Some of our dogs may have preliminary OFA evaluations ("prelims"), which can be completed before a dog reaches full maturity. If you do not see one of our dogs listed in the public OFA database, preliminary evaluations may have been performed. According to OFA, "preliminary evaluations of hip joint status in dogs are generally reliable."

If any dog in our program does not meet our standards based on preliminary results, we reserve the right to remove that dog from our breeding program or repeat testing at 2 years of age for final certification.
